AUTO PARTS MINI STOCKS
1. BODIES
Any production four cylinder automobile front or rear wheel
drive. All
combustible material and glass except the windshield must be
removed.
A. No side windows or panels of any kind.
B. Doors must be welded shut.
C. Bracing must be removed from hood and trunk covers.
D. Body must retain stock appearance.
E. Must retain stock steel floor pan.
F. Lowest part of fuel cell can be no lower than 12 inches.
Must be centered in the trunk area. Must have fuel cell
protector behind fuel cell.
G. All parts of the race car must be from make, model and
year. Stock parts only. A stock plastic replacement nose
allowed.
2. WEIGHT
A. One pound per c.c., minimum weight 1800 pounds. 53
percent left side
maximum. Weight can be changed at the discretion and
approval of the
track.
3. ROLL CAGE
A. Minimum 4 point roll cage, pipes may extend forward or
rearward as long as suspension points are not altered in any
way.
B. Roll cage cannot be set back any further than front of
rear seat.
4. CAMBER
A. Right front – 2 inches. Left front – 1 inch.
B. Rear tires must be straight up.
5. WHEELS
A. 6 inch wide. Minimum backspacing 3 inches. After market
wheels allowed, minimum weight 17 pounds.
6. TIRES
A. 7 inch tread width maximum. No speed rated or high
performance allowed.
B. One size difference side to side.
7. SPRINGS
A. Stock springs. Springs may be cut
or heated. Must be same height and diameter side to side.
Minimum ride height is 5 inches.
B. Minimum ride height is 5 inches.
C. No racing struts or shocks.
D. Rear shocks must be in stock location.
E. Front upper strut may be re-drilled for camber
adjustment.
8. ENGINE
A. Stock or stock rebuild OK. Absolutely no high performance
parts allowed.
B. No Turbo Chargers.
9. TRANSMISSION
A. Manual or automatic unaltered.
B. No traction enhancing differentials.
C. Open differentials
only.
Notes: All illegal parts will
become the property of Wiscasset Raceway. If you do not
surrender illegal parts you will not race until you do.
Weights can be changed in fairness of competition.
If it doesn’t say you can do it, you can’t. |

The rules, regulations and specifications
contained in these documents are designed to provide orderly
conduct for our racing events and to establish minimum,
acceptable requirements for all events and those
participating in them. All competitors and those associated
with them are required to comply. There is no warranty
expressed or implied with regard to safety by following
these rules. Auto racing is a dangerous sport. These rules
are intended as a guide only and in no way offer a guarantee
against injury or death to participants or spectators.
Since it would be impossible to list with
any rule book all the modifications and infractions that
could be illegal, it shall be understood that Wiscasset
Raceway management reserves the right to modify the rules at
any time and to make those changes effective at any time.
Infractions will be dealt with in any means as determined by
Wiscasset Raceway management.
ANY USE OF ANY KIND OF TIRE TREATMENT OR
TRACTION CONTROL WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND SUBJECT TO
DISQUALIFICATION.
DISQUALIFICATION (DQ): IF YOU ARE DQ’D
FOR ANY REASON, YOU RECEIVE NO POINTS FOR THE HEAT AND RACE,
AND YOU RECEIVE NO MONEY FOR HEAT OR RACE – PERIOD! |
