Wiscasset Raceway is allowing race teams to take off the
Camaro and Monte Carlo bodies off their race cars and
replace them with any make body. Examples being a 2001 Ford
Tauras body on a Monte Carlo Chassis, or a 2000 or newer
Chrysler, Nissan, Toyota, Malibu, or Impala body on a Camaro
chassis.
We believe this will open a new door for sponsors for the
teams because now they are really representing cars that the
average fan is driving. This concept will be great for
everyone involved.
The body will have to keep the stock appearance. Wiscasset
will have final say on how each team goes about the new
concept. This will give us all back the diverse amount of
race cars on the track, and who knows it might even be your
father's Oldsmobile.
So come on Race Teams, let's build and put on the track some
